About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and analytical
Credit Underwriter / Risk Associate

to join our Credit Risk team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for
digital underwriting

of personal loan applications — blending data-driven insights with strong human judgement to make sound credit decisions within defined TATs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and underwrite
    digital personal loan applications

in line with internal credit policy.
- Work on
digital underwriting processes

and
real-time decision engines

to support faster, data-led credit assessments.
- Interpret
bureau data

(CIBIL, CRIF, Experian).
- Identify potential fraud or high-risk applications and
escalate early warning signals

promptly.
- Develop and manage
credit strategies

for unsecured personal loans.
- Translate insights from
portfolio performance

into actionable policy updates.
- Collaborate with the
Risk, Product, and Tech teams

to enhance underwriting logic, risk assessment framework. scorecards, and automation flows.
- Oversee key parts of the
loan life-cycle

, including disbursement, repayment, and collections.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in
    personal loan or unsecured digital lending

(NBFC or Fintech preferred).
- Strong grasp of both
manual underwriting and digital lending workflows

.
- Proficiency in
Excel, financial analysis, and documentation

.
- Familiarity with
digital scorecards, rule engines, or underwriting APIs

is a plus.
- Attention to detail, logical thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset.
