Job Title: CNC Bending Machine Operator

Education & Qualification

  • ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certification in Electrical/Electronics
  • OR Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in CNC bending or sheet-metal fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC bending machines in accordance with job orders and engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret technical blue-prints, manufacturing drawings and work orders to determine bending operations.
  • Select, install and adjust tools/dies and machine settings (angle, back-gauge, stroke, etc.) to meet specifications.
  • Perform trial or first-piece runs and make necessary adjustments for dimensional accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor and inspect bent parts during production for adherence to tolerances, ensure correct bending angles and finish.
  • Maintain machine operation records, production output logs and defect reports.
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments, check tooling condition, and escalate technical issues.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years' relevant experience in operating CNC bending or similar sheet-metal fabrication machines.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience in tooling set-up, machine calibration and adjustment of bending machines.
