Manager / Senior Manager - Vendor Quality @ Pithampur

Key Responsibilities-
- Oversee quality control for final assembly of trucks and buses ensuring adherence to OEM standards.
- Lead Shop Quality, Incoming Quality, and Field Quality teams for end-to-end quality management.
- Implement and maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) across all plant processes.
- Monitor COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) and implement reduction initiatives.
- Develop and execute vendor rating systems and supplier quality improvement plans.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for internal and field failures.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Service to provide feedback for design and process improvements.
- Prepare and review quality MIS reports, Q-Gates, and dashboard for management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, TS, and other quality standards during audits.
- Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and zero-defect manufacturing.
Technical Skills - Requirement
- In-depth knowledge of Truck/Bus final assembly quality standards.
- Expertise in Shop Quality, Incoming Quality, and Field Quality management.
- Strong understanding of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and ISO/TS standards.
- Experience in vendor audits, rating systems, and supplier quality management.
- Proficiency in COPQ analysis and reduction techniques.
- Skilled in problem-solving tools RCA, 8D, FMEA, SPC.
- Ability to lead large quality teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
