Role Overview:As an Academic Counsellor at Dear Abroad, you will play a key role in guiding students throughout their overseas education journey — from understanding their academic profile and career aspirations to helping them select the right universities, courses, and countries. You will also assist in application processing, documentation, and pre-departure support.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one academic counselling sessions to students and parents. Assess student profiles to identify suitable universities, programs, and countries. Guide students through the complete admission process, including applications, SOPs, and documentation. Stay updated with international education systems, university rankings, and admission criteria. Conduct seminars, webinars, and information sessions about study abroad opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions. Achieve monthly counselling and enrollment targets. Coordinate with internal teams (admissions, visa, marketing) for seamless student experience. Maintain accurate records of counselling interactions and student progress in CRM systems. Required Qualifications & Skills:Minimum 2 years of experience in academic counselling, overseas education, or related fields. Graduate or Postgraduate degree (Education, Management, or relevant field preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of international education systems (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe,etc.). Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
