About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate Android Developer with strong experience in building high-performance mobile applications. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimize user-centric experiences on Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality Android applications.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code following best practices.
  • Integrate streaming technologies and optimize playback performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues, debug crashes, and ensure app stability across devices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional Android development experience, with Front End Development experience.
  • Strong command of Kotlin and Java- Mandatory and strong expertise
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM/MVI patterns. – Mandatory and strong expertise
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit/OkHttp, and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt).
  • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, Play Store deployment, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Experience working with streaming media players (ExoPlayer preferred).
  • Good knowledge of performance optimization and memory management

Nice to have

  • Experience working on OTT / media streaming platforms.
  • Exposure to Compose UI.
  • Understanding of analytics and user engagement tools
