Position: Drone Pilot - Spectral Imagery & Crop Spray Operations

About the Role:

You will be an integral part of our field operations team, responsible for executing precision agricultural missions. Your primary duties will include:

• Piloting advanced multi-spectral and hyper-spectral drones to capture high-resolution imagery of crops and large agricultural fields.
• Operating large-scale agricultural drones for precise application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other agro-inputs.
• Transferring, managing, and ensuring the integrity of spectral data collected from the field for our research and analytics teams.
• Collaborating and coordinating directly with data scientists and agronomists to analyze results and optimize flight patterns for maximum efficacy.
• Conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all operations comply with DGCA regulations.
• Extensive travel to various project sites and farm clusters across the country.
• Weekly Logs and Monthly  MIS on Flight worthiness of Drones, Road worthiness of Vehicles for Drone transport, Spares, Schedules, Spectral data coverage, Spray coverage etc to the management team

Who We Are Looking For:

Essential Qualifications:

• A valid 
  DGCA-recognized Remote Pilot License (RPL)
  .
• Proven experience in operating drones for agricultural purposes (e.g., spraying, mapping).
• Willingness and ability to undertake extensive travel.
• Strong understanding of flight operations and safety protocols.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.

Desired Skills & Advantages:

• Prior hands-on experience with 
  spectral imagery operations
   and data acquisition is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with various drone platforms used in agriculture.
• Basic computer proficiency for data transfer, upload, and basic troubleshooting.
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to dynamic field conditions.
