Senior Solution Architect

We are partnering with one of the largest and most innovative banks in the UAE to find a Senior Solution Architect – Mobile Architecture to join their Group IT team. This role is based in Bengaluru, India, and will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital banking by designing resilient, agile, and secure architectural solutions for their Everyday Banking systems and applications.

Job Purpose:

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will report to the Head of Architecture Chapter and work closely with delivery heads and functional leads. You will play a key role in delivering world-class architectural solutions, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, and mentoring junior architects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design & Development:
  • Design and develop mobile applications and their ecosystems in collaboration with internal departments and subsidiaries.
  • Ensure all designs comply with the bank's development best practices, user journeys, and architectural patterns.
  • Utilize best practices for mobile app design, user interface, and overall architecture.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the architectural design of mobile apps integrated with microservices and API-based ecosystems.
  • Integrate mobile app ecosystems with modern technologies such as microservices, containers/cloud-native platforms, event streams, APIs, and message brokers.
  • Build data products and analytics solutions, focusing on real-time data processing and reporting.
• Collaboration & Mentoring:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that add exceptional business value.
  • Mentor and coach junior architects, contributing to their professional development.
  • Conduct workshops and peer review sessions to promote knowledge sharing.
• Standards & Best Practices:
  • Maintain architectural blueprints and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Define reusable blueprints and reference architectures for new solutions.
  • Enhance the efficiency of architecture design workflows through innovation and automation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in designing mobile applications, microservices, and APIs.
  • Proven track record in at least three mobile app architecture projects.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools and data modeling tools is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as microservices, APIs, and mobile app development.
  • Proficiency in integrating mobile app ecosystems with modern technologies like cloud-native platforms.
  • Experience in building data products, analytics, and real-time data processing.
