Our Client is a Large, multiphase and multi dimensional concern headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal with over 3 decades of Reliability and Trust, having manufacturing activities in: Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphuric Acid (LABSA) ,PP/HDPE Woven sacks/bags, Jute& textile Mills Machinery & spares, Industrial Jute bags and Jute Diversified Products Including shopping bags, Detergents, Fertilizers, HDPE Card Cans & Box Springs.

Educational Qualification: Graduate + any Diploma in Shipping and Logistics is preferred. MBA (B.Tech optional)

Job description:

  • Liaoning with shipping line for booking.
  • Placing booking though online or manual as per the shipping line.
  • Freight finalisation for export shipment with hod.
  • Coordination with transporter/cha/plant people/shipping line for the matter of:
  • Co-ordinating with transporter regarding availability of vehicle and allotment of booking.
  • Liasoning with production managers for both the plant and finalise export planning and shipments.
  • Liasoning with plant people for loading and identification of containers partywise.
  • Co-ordinatng with cha for necessary clearance and other various issues like gate in issue, form 13 issue movement related issue and other various operation related issue
  • Status of container pick up and other misc. Problems crop up from time to time while movement of containers.
  • Dg indexing of containers (especially msc & maersk) immediately after picking up containers.
  • Co –ordination with marketing person for freight quotation and other logistics issues.
  • Reporting hod & directors for export planning
  • Sending mails to client where necessary and specially asked for.
  • Taking up issues with shipping line regarding delivery related issue / post shipment issue.
  • Preparing/checking vgm and final submission
  • Apply advance license and arrangement of necessary documents.
  • Filing of meis claim for both the companies.
  • Lead the Entire cycle of purchase, logistic, PPC and delivery for unit
  • Optimize cost of operation
  • Inventory management.

Skill Required:

  • DGFT and Exim knowledge and experience must
