Role Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications using Java, Python, or Go, with strong involvement in both PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.

You will work closely with the frontend and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing systems.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend logic, APIs, and integrations.

Design efficient data models and manage both PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Collaborate with team members on system architecture and new feature development.

Test, debug, and optimise application performance.

Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and tools.


Required Skills

Proficiency in one programming language: Java, Python, or Go.

Working knowledge of both PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Understanding of RESTful API development and basic backend architecture.

Strong fundamentals in OOP, data structures, and algorithms.

Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.


Good to Have

Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI, or Gin.

Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Basic knowledge of microservices architecture or DevOps concepts.

Prior internship or project experience in backend development.
