Job Summary:

The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in supporting the admissions process by guiding prospective students and their families through the application process, promoting the school's offerings, and ensuring a smooth transition into the institution. This role requires a strong understanding of the school's programs, an ability to build relationships with prospective students, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospective Student Engagement: Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Application Guidance: Assist students with completing their application forms, ensuring they meet all deadlines and requirements.
  • School Representation: Participate in school fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events to promote the school's programs and services.
  • Review & Assessment: Help evaluate applications and provide recommendations to the admissions committee based on academic and personal qualifications.
  • Counselling: Offer one-on-one counselling to prospective students, discussing academic programs, scholarships, and campus life.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inquiries, applicants, and communication for reporting and follow-up purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., financial aid, academic advisors) to ensure a cohesive student experience from inquiry to enrolment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Education, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in admissions or student services, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of enrolment management software or CRM systems (a plus).
  • Passion for helping students and understanding of the school's mission.

Job Type: Full-time
