SAP FICO Solution Officer

Main KRA

  1. First line SAP supports Accounting & Controlling Functions
  2. Assistance with specific improvement projects
  3. Contribute to BMT template SAP roll-outs in related processes

EHS KRA

  1. Take appropriate actions for any Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Discipline issues
  2. Suggest modification in AI/HIRA registers and get approval from HOD.
  3. Implement necessary actions in department to improve performance on EHS
  4. Collaborate with health/safety manager to implement safety policies for general plant operations.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations within his team to minimize industrial injuries and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. First line SAP support to accounting & controlling functions:
  2. Call intake and first line support to end users
  3. coordinator and liaison between key and/or end user and 2nd line support for solving 2nd line incidents and issues
  4. Maintain user documentation
  5. assure and monitor local training programs
  6. monitor efficient and proper processing of transactions, define and co-ordinate corrective actions where necessary
  7. monitor proper functioning of SAP flows and related functional procedures

  8. monitor adequacy of master data management

  9. Assistance with specific improvement projects:

  10. exploiting information available on SAP (standard and ad hoc reporting)
  11. Identifying business process improvement needs and opportunities

  12. monitoring the efficient and adequate use of SAP functionality to support operations

  13. Contribute to BMT template SAP roll-outs in the related processes:

  14. the preparation and conversion of master data
  15. validation of business and SAP flow blueprints
  16. training of junior team members & users
  17. the development and execution of startup scenarios
  18. safeguard local requirements and interests

Authorities:

  1. identifying global fine-tuning opportunities to BMT SAP template based upon support desk experiences
  2. share best practices across entities in organizing business flows and using SAP

Qualification

CA / ICWA

Completed SAP FICO Module Training from Competent Agency

Exposure of SAP S4 HANA (Preferably worked in an SAP Support team in the past)

Experience

12- 15 YEARS

Skills / Attributes

  • Business experience in accounting and/or materials management (purchase, store,) / control function in discrete manufacturing
  • IT literate, with experience in applications used in these processes
  • (Capable of acquiring) In depth knowledge of SAP flows in the areas of FICO
  • Strong analytical skills and eager to learn
  • Be responsible, pro-active and able to work autonomously while respecting group guidelines / team organization
  • Detail oriented person, able to prioritize in view of business relevance
  • Good business manners
  • Able to gain trust and respect across entities and functions
  • Team player with good communication and English language skills
  • Able to work in an international, multicultural environment and willing to travel (up to 10%)
