Dayal Hospitality is an expanding group in the hospitality industry, operating multiple hotels and resorts in Lucknow, including Dayal Paradise, Dayal Gateway, and Dayal Bagh. The company also boasts an exquisite bakery and café named Melting Point. Our latest venture is a modern Indian cuisine restaurant called Kaleidoscope.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hotel Chef, located in Shimla. The Hotel Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety, managing inventory and supplies, and collaborating with other staff members to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage preparation and kitchen management
• Customer Service skills, with an ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
• Budgeting experience to manage kitchen expenses and supplies efficiently
• Sales skills to promote special menu items and increase revenue
• Flexibility to assist with Receptionist Duties as needed
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role is highly desirable
