Role Overview:

As an
Associate / Senior Associate
, you will:

  • Work with some of the leading technology corporations and technology experts, assisting them in their i
    nnovation roadmap and MnA decisions
  • Work on some of the
    cutting-edge technologies
    and hand-in-hand with technologists
  • Get an opportunity to
    identify problems
    and strive to resolve the same by
    independent thinking
  • Assist clients worldwide by delivering high quality competitive intelligence and strategic services

Job description:

  • Individual contributor for providing search & analytics support
  • Must have experience of delivering
    client ready reports
    across patentability / invalidity searches, FTOs, landscapes, technology scouting projects, etc.
  • Develop different search strategies based on the business needs of clients.
    Emphasis on smart searching
  • Willingness to tinker around (introduce automation, build macros, dashboards, improvise reports, explore AI/ML, etc.)
  • Essentially, contribute in revamping the searching vertical at Hourglass

Desired Skillset:

  • Hands-on experience across different patent and non-patent databases
  • Ability to frame patentability opinions
  • Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/ cutting-edge technologies within Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
    [an absolute must]
  • Ability to think independently and in a team to understand problems & suggest solutions

Education/Professional Qualification and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in
    Electrical, Electronics, Communication, and Computer Science
  • IP Experience:
    1-3 years
