  • Plan, design, and oversee electrical installations and systems for construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical works.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project managers to ensure timely execution of electrical works.
  • Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, transformer selection, panel design, and power distribution planning.
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, substations, and lighting systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues at site to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure energy efficiency, sustainability, and safety in all electrical designs and implementations.
  • Maintain documentation of electrical designs, approvals, and site progress reports.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) for seamless project execution.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, Dialux).
  • Familiarity with IS, IEC, NEC, and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and team coordination abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional certifications (if any) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred.
