We are seeking a skilled Forensic Audit & Financial Investigation Specialist to lead forensic audits and investigate suspected tax evasion. The role involves deep financial analysis, evidence-based investigation, and reporting of financial irregularities. You will collaborate with tax, legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to support enforcement actions and corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities


• Plan and execute forensic audits focused on potential tax evasion, including scoping, evidence collection, testing, and documentation.


• Conduct detailed financial investigations: transaction tracing, source-to-use analysis, ledger reviews, and identification of undisclosed income or asset-hiding methods.


• Examine accounting records, bank statements, invoices, contracts, and digital financial systems to detect anomalies and fraud indicators.


• Use data analytics and forensic methodologies to identify red flags, patterns, and suspicious transactions.


• Maintain proper chain of custody and ensure all evidence collection aligns with legal and regulatory standards.


• Prepare clear, detailed investigation reports and visual exhibits summarizing findings and tax impact assessments.


• Support regulatory inquiries, legal proceedings, or internal disciplinary actions as required.


• Collaborate with internal tax, finance, and compliance teams to recommend control enhancements and remediation measures.


• Contribute to building investigative playbooks, templates, and workpapers for tax-related forensic reviews.
