We are currently looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join our team remotely  and support in building financial models, analyzing financial data, and contributing to business decision-making processes. This position will work closely with IT and finance teams to ensure effective financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Analyze financial data and create insightful reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to gather and interpret financial data.
  • Design and implement financial systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance by analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to the finance team on Power BI and other financial tools.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
  • Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a solid understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (creating dashboards and reports).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software.
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Experience with financial systems like Oracle Hyperion and Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
