RVR PRO is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable 
Data Management Specialist

to ensure secure, consistent, and efficient handling of company data. The role involves managing data backup, performing scheduled data copies, and supporting data recovery operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and availability of business-critical information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 
    daily, weekly, and monthly data backups
     according to company policies.
  • Monitor and validate backup operations to ensure data is securely and completely stored.
  • Execute 
    data copy operations
     between internal systems, external drives, or cloud platforms as needed.
  • Maintain a structured backup catalog, logs, and reports for all data management activities.
  • Assist with 
    data recovery
     during system failures, user errors, or cybersecurity events.
  • Ensure data retention and archiving complies with 
    internal policies
     and 
    regulatory standards
    .
  • Test and verify data integrity after backup and copy processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data backup and copy failures.
  • Continuously assess and recommend improvements in data backup and recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in data management, IT support, or system administration.
  • Experience with backup software
  • Samiliarity with data storage systems, cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage), and file transfer tools.
  • Basic understanding of database systems, file structures, and data formats.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
