Role:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in project delivery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the agile development process, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, and driving successful project delivery. This role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies. The role also takes ownership of Product Delivery, hence requires a strong background in Software Development.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience playing the Scrum Master role and running at least 40 sprint life cycles for a software development team; diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  • Guiding the team in self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Ensure that the team is adhering to the Scrum methodology and foster best practices in the team.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and the organization.
  • Arrange daily stand-up scrum meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo, and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of the adaptation process.
  • Grooming and maintaining the product backlog by working with the required stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • Any Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized university.
  • Scrum certified with a minimum 5-7 years of experience working in Product Development or IT Consulting Delivery teams.
  • Deep understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and SDLC process.
  • Should have knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous, Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
  • Familiar with common development practices, Service-oriented environments, and Agile practices.
  • Should have knowledge of cloud technology (Like Azure, AWS).
  • Should have experience in offshore onsite setup.
  • Preferred certifications–CSM, PSM, Prince, etc.

Functional Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; experience in effectively communicating with teams located across different locations and customer.
  • Ability to take technical decisions based on analysis and implementation phase.
  • Strong leadership skills: ability to drive the team towards a pre-determined goal.
