Please find the below Opening for SCM/Procurement- Manager/Sr. Manager at Laurus Labs Ltd, Registered Office, Visakhapatnam.

Role & responsibilities :

1. Obtain quotations and prepare quotation comparison statements for negotiation with vendors pertaining to INFRA Engineering -Capex and Revenue Purchase Orders.

2.INFRA procurement for New Projects & regular Engineering OPEX for Formulation Plant, API Plant and R & D units.

1. INFRA role Civil ARCs (RMC/Cement /Structural steel/TOR steel /Granite/Marble/Tiles /False ceiling/Plumbing/sanitary items etc.); Electrical/Mechanical (structural Sheds/railings/platforms etc.)/Insulation/painting related/Fabrication etc.

2. Coal (Imported/Domestic) and diesel procurement process

3. Central kitchen equipment procurement process

4. Home appliances procurement process

5. Office furniture procurement process

6. Horticulture procurement process

7. PCB/EHS/structural stability related statutory work orders finalization process

8. Preparation and discussion of Techno commercial evaluation of offers & comparative statements.

9. Negotiation with Vendors & order finalization. Follow the approval process & take approval for placement of orders.

10. Coordination with the vendors, logistics department, accounts& finance along with end user for timely delivery of materials.

11. Sourcing new vendors for Engineering Materials and Spare as an alternative source for effective negotiation process.

12. Adherence to procurement Policies, SOP, Audit, Legal Compliance.

13. Timely updating of DMS files in system.

14. Preparation of MIS reports and subsequent submission to Management.

15. Preparation of Project reports (MPP) after finalization of order to discuss further with end users and vendor for timely completion of project with risk &mitigation procedure.

16. In absence of reporting person, need to inform the next level of higher authority.

17. In absence of immediate next level senior, shall take over the job till he resumes duty and handing over all the information executed during his absence.

Preferred candidate profile :

B.Tech/MBA with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Engineering and Infra Procurement of CAPEX/OPEX, preferably from Pharmaceutical industry.
