KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The AI Product Owner will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative AI-driven

solutions within the Technology department. This senior-level position requires a strategic

mindset, deep domain expertise, and the ability to bridge business objectives with technical

execution. Key responsibilities include:

Define Product Vision & Strategy:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into a clear AI product vision.

Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Backlog Management:

Own and prioritize the AI product backlog, balancing business value and technical feasibility.

Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria for AI features.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and designers.

Facilitate effective communication to ensure shared understanding of product goals and deliverables.

Sprint Planning & Execution:

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Guide development teams to deliver high-quality AI features on schedule.

Data & Model Oversight:

Identify and evaluate data sources for AI model training and validation.

Collaborate on the development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models.

Market & User Research:

Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for AI integration and competitive differentiation.

Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements and future releases.

Compliance & Ethics:

Ensure all AI solutions adhere to ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Work Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, software development, or data science within the technology domain.

Proven track record managing AI/ML or data-driven products from ideation to launch.

Experience working in cross-functional teams and Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field is required.

Master's degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or AI Product Management are advantageous.

Skills / Behaviour Attributes:

Strategic thinking and product visioning with a focus on delivering business value through technology.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and model lifecycle management.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and data visualization platforms.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is highly desirable.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
