About You:

• 10+ years of relevant IT experience in Thales Encryption.
• Experience with large Enterprise
• Proven experience as a Senior Thales engineer / SME or similar role, with a focus on encryption technology for DATA at rest for the DBs, File servers, etc.,
• In-depth understanding of:
• Migrate the keys from existing DSM to new CM. Add Users, Groups, LDAP, etc.
• ALL of the VTE settings (Guard Points, Host Groups etc.) in CM
• Re-register CTE with CM.
• Export backup file from DSM and import backup file to CM
• Register CTE with CM
• Verify Access to Guard Points
• Provide an as built and configuration document** to provide details of the implementation tasks performed with any relevant screenshots and logs captured during the implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to thales encryption.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher.

What you 'll do:

• Define the CM deployment configuration an get it provisioned in Customer's environment
  •
• Schedule the CM installation
• Perform installation and configuration of the CM
• Perform Management Console setup consistent with best practices
• Install CM licenses and activate needed features
• Create CM cluster as appropriate utilizing the new instances
• Demonstrate key sharing between clustered,
• Demonstrate logging/auditing
• Provide guidance on performing safe backups of key material and access policies
• Migration from existing DSM to CM
• Review the Customer's security policies and procedures.
• Review the CM configuration for software upgrade or configuration change.
• Perform DSM migration to CM as per following:
• Migrate the keys from existing DSM to new CM. Add Users, Groups, LDAP, etc.
• ALL of the VTE settings (Guard Points, Host Groups etc.) in CM
• Re-register CTE with CM.
• Export backup file from DSM and import backup file to CM.
• Register CTE with CM.
• Verify Access to Guard Points:
• Health Check post Migration.
• Provide an as built and configuration document** to provide details of the implementation tasks performed with any relevant screenshots and logs captured during the implementation.
• Conduct a 2 hours' knowledge transfer* (KT) session to review the as built and configuration document
