Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to develop a fully functional website using
WordPress from scratch
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain real-world experience in website development, design, and content management using WordPress.

Qualifications

  • Plan, design, and develop a complete WordPress website from scratch.
  • Customize themes or develop a custom theme as per project requirements.
  • Implement necessary plugins, forms, and integrations (e.g., contact forms, social media, analytics, etc.).
  • Optimize the website for performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO basics.
  • Collaborate with content creators/designers to structure content and layout.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure full functionality and browser compatibility.
  • Maintain documentation of the development process and changes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of
    WordPress CMS
    .
  • Familiarity with
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
    (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of
    responsive web design
    principles.
  • Basic knowledge of
    SEO
    and
    website performance optimization
    is a plus.
  • Experience with page builders like
    Elementor, WPBakery
    , or Gutenberg (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and follow deadlines.
  • A portfolio or examples of past web projects (if available) is a bonus.
