Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Web Developer, located in Bhubaneswar. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to functionality according to the project's specifications. Responsibilities include creating visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, developing back-end functionality, and maintaining the technical documentation of web applications.

We are seeking a Shopify Developer who can design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify architecture, Liquid templating, and front-end/back-end integration to enhance user experience and drive online sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance site functionality.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement creative and functional e-commerce solutions.
  • Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores.
  • Implement SEO best practices within Shopify for better search engine visibility.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Shopify trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Shopify APIs, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Shopify SEO and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of server-side technologies like or PHP.
