Role & responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for assigned automotive/EV projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, design, production, quality, procurement, vendor management).
  • Track project timelines, resources, risks, and ensure adherence to Hero MotoCorps product development standards.
  • Manage project documentation, reports, milestones, and ensure timely approvals.
  • Drive new product development (NPD) and improvement projects as per the Hero Innovation & Vehicle Engineering (HIVE) framework.
  • Ensure project costs, quality parameters, and SOP targets are met.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Engage with suppliers/vendors for component development and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Identify project risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Facilitate testing, validation, and homologation activities with relevant teams.
  • Support plant teams during pilot builds, proto builds, and production ramp-up.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals and technological roadmap.
  • Maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and progress trackers for management review.
  • Promote innovation, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration.
