Intune Administrator - Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jamf Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Apple macOS devices in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities - Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management

  • Configure Intune compliance and configuration profiles for Windows 10/11 and macOS devices.
  • Create and deploy PowerShell scripts for policy automation via Intune.
  • Manage Windows 11 update rings and feature updates.
  • Package and deploy enterprise applications using Intune.
  • Configure Windows Autopilot, BitLocker encryption, and security baselines.
  • Manage Azure AD join and hybrid join deployment profiles.
  • Administer Azure AD users, groups, and password policies.
  • Maintain Intune tenant and support full endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Design application delivery infrastructure across Windows and Macs.
  • Assist in infrastructure design, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Provide proactive and reactive advisory support to customers and internal teams.
  • Support Defender for Endpoint deployment and configuration on Windows devices.
  • Coordinate setup of services across cloud, server, and network teams.
  • Optimize and maintain mobile device management (MDM/MAM) policies and solutions.
  • Understand SSO, MFA, Azure AD Connect, and cloud identity integrations.
  • Document services, create reports, and lead application onboarding via Intune.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Advanced Intune workflow expertise – Dynamic Groups, Policies, Scripts, Custom Attributes.
  • Deep understanding of macOS internals and Apple MDM framework.
  • Experience in creating security baselines: FileVault, Gatekeeper, SIP, Firewall.
  • Ability to provide L3 support and mentor junior administrators.
  • Strong documentation skills and process ownership.

Additional Skills – Jamf Pro

  • Third-party application patching on Mac devices.
  • Create and test third-party Mac packages on local devices.
  • Automate application deployment, compliance reporting, and patch management.
  • Roll out Microsoft Defender to macOS endpoints and participate in pilot deployments.
  • Configure and deploy Microsoft Defender profiles for macOS using Jamf.
  • Coordinate Change and Release activities for third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Linux, security) for JAMF server downtime and updates.
  • Identify and resolve technical debt items and patch compliance gaps.
  • Identify and manage fonts across Macs and PCs for compliance.

Note: SCCM knowledge will be an added advantage.
