We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant specializing in Production Costing to join our team in Raipur. The role is a full-time senior position requiring between 7 to 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting and cost analysis and will work closely with our esteemed clients to optimize production costs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced knowledge in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting (Mandatory skill).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a cost accounting role within the manufacturing or production sector.
  • Strong proficiency in variance analysis to assess cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in inventory management to ensure effective cost control and accuracy.
  • Experience with activity-based costing to allocate costs more accurately to products and services.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for efficient financial data management and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills aimed at process improvement for cost optimization.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analyze day-to-day production costs and execute cost-saving strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Maintain cost records and prepare regular financial statements and reports to facilitate management decisions.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights for corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with production teams to streamline cost control processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement activity-based costing methods to more accurately determine production costs.
  • Utilize ERP systems to integrate and report financial data, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop budgets, track spending, and assess the financial impact of production decisions.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
