Role : Purchase Coordinator.

Job Role :

  1. Sourcing and Vendor Management:

  2. Assist in identifying potential suppliers/vendors.

  3. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  4. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate terms and conditions.

2. Purchase Order Processing:

  • Assist in creating purchase orders based on requisitions from various departments.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase orders.
  • Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries.

3 Inventory Management:

  • Help maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with inventory control teams.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and reordering when necessary.
  • Support in managing stock discrepancies and returns.

4 Price Negotiation and Cost Analysis:

  • Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchases.
  • Conduct basic cost analysis to compare prices and evaluate cost savings.

5 Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of procurement-related documents.

6 Market Research:

  • Assist in researching market trends and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments that could impact purchasing decisions.

7. Communication and Coordination:

  • Liaise with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient procurement processes.

8. Reporting:

  • Generate basic procurement reports, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
