ROLE SUMMARY:

The Telehealth Program Manager will provide leadership, management and direction to the Telehealth Program under the direction of the Director of Outpatient Services at Leimert Park. The Program Manager will ensure that the telehealth team provide services utilizing a strength based approach, are solution focused and trauma informed. The Telehealth Program Manager will oversee program clinical staff and manage to contractual and Wellnest requirements.  



ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Program Manager for the Telehealth Program is responsible for the overall management and implementation of new ideas and improvements of the Telehealth program.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Outpatient Services at Leimert Park to manage day-to-day operations to ensure program and contract compliance.
  • Support the development of and adherence to Wellnest policies, procedures and workflows.
  • Directly support the recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff.
  • Communicate with Department of Mental Health and Program Partners for purposes of collaboration regarding referrals for the program as well as attending partner and community meetings.
  • The Program Manager coordinates regular team meetings to review the staff's existing caseload, discuss new and ongoing clients, and provide feedback about clinical and administrative issues.
  • The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the provision of HIPAA compliant virtual therapy services.
  • The Program Manager will pursue additional referrals sources to grow the program and assist in generating client referrals into the program.
  • Identify opportunities and coordinate participation in community health fairs/community events to create access and linkage to Telehealth services.

  • Assist in the development of culturally competent educational/outreach material, such as flyers and brochures to reduce stigma and to provide guidance for those seeking both general information on health-related topics and further support in receiving healthcare services.
  • Identify and develop initiatives to promote patient satisfaction and advocacy efforts.
  • Assist in development of tracking and evaluation system to track referral sources and clients.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required. A candidate must hold a valid license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW). In addition, this candidate must have two years of post-licensure experience. Must possess and maintain a valid CA driver's license and insurable driving record that meets Wellnest's insurance carrier's criteria for liability coverage. Certification in TFCBT, IPT, or ICBT or any other EBP preferred. In keeping with Company policy for all employees, the successful applicant must also complete a test for TB, and fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Employee may be asked to pursue additional training when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Company. Employee must have the ability to use a personal vehicle with the required insurance coverage to complete the essential duties of their job and conduct agency business.

WORKING CONDITIONS: The program manager will be in the office 1x per week.
