Position- GM Project and profit center head- Construction contracting company for Industrial/ Warehouse project

Location- Chennai/ Pune

Experience- 20+ Years

CTC LPA

Qualification- Diploma/ BE Civil

Projects Experience: Industrial projects/ Manufacturing plant/ Warehouse plant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Overall responsibility for planning, scheduling, and execution of warehouse/industrial construction projects.
  • Review and approve project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to design, specifications, safety, and quality standards.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team including site managers, engineers, planners, and safety officers.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural and MEP contractors.
  • Assign responsibilities, review progress, and resolve bottlenecks.

3. Cost & Budget Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Control project costs through value engineering and efficient resource utilization.
  • Approve contractor/vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

4. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as a single point of contact for the client.
  • Provide regular progress updates, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances are met (labour laws, safety norms, environmental clearances, etc.).
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans.

6. Quality & Safety Assurance

  • Drive quality control and assurance initiatives.
  • Implement health and safety protocols across the site.
  • Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions.
