Sustainability Engineer Renewable Energy

Job Description:

The Sustainability Engineer ensures that renewable energy projects are designed and executed with minimal environmental impact and maximum resource efficiency. This role integrates sustainability principles into engineering and operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for renewable energy projects
  • Develop sustainability strategies aligned with global standards (e.g., LEED, GRI)
  • Monitor carbon footprint and energy efficiency metrics
  • Recommend sustainable materials and construction practices
  • Collaborate with design and operations teams to implement green solutions
  • Prepare sustainability reports and compliance documentation
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote ESG goals

Qualifications:

  • B.E./BTech in Environmental, Energy, or Civil Engineering
  • Certification in sustainability (e.g., LEED, ISO preferred

Skills:

  • Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and ESG frameworks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Data analysis and reporting
