Role & responsibilities

The Department Head for Battery Pack System Engineering will lead a multi-disciplinary organization accountable for end-to-end system ownership of battery packs from requirements definition and qualification testing, through physical and digital integration, to system sizing, modelling, and analytics in production and field operation. This role will set vision, standards, and execution excellence across three verticals:

1.System Requirement Engineering & Qualification Test translating stakeholder needs into robust, testable requirements; driving verification & validation (V&V) and regulatory compliance.

2.System Integration owning cross-functional integration of pack hardware, BMS electronics/software, thermal management, and mechanical structures, ensuring performance, safety, and manufacturability.

3.System Sizing & Data Analytics defining pack sizing methodologies for use cases and duty cycles, developing models, and leveraging analytics/field data to optimize performance, reliability, and TCO.

You will collaborate closely with product management, program management, design engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, reliability, and service teams to deliver market-leading battery pack solutions on time, on cost, and at target performance.
