Role & responsibilities

  1. Teaching and Curriculum:

  3. Teach fundamental mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning.
  4. Adapt teaching methods based on student needs and learning styles.
  5. Create lesson plans that align with the curriculum.

  6. Encourage active participation and critical thinking.

  7. Assessment and Evaluation:

  8. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations.

  9. Provide constructive feedback to students.

  10. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and performance.

  11. Individualized Support:

  12. Identify students with specific learning needs and create personalized learning strategies.

  13. Offer additional support to students who require it.

  14. Parent Communication:

  15. Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress.

  16. Collaborate with parents to enhance student learning at home.

  17. Classroom Management:

  18. Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.

  19. Foster a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for mathematics.

  20. Collaboration:

  21. Work closely with other teachers and staff members.

  22. Participate in school events, workshops, and training sessions.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Bachelors degree in Maths or any other equivalent discipline plus Bachelor of Education.
  • Teaching certification or relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and mathematics standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and patience.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
  • Understanding the unique needs of EWS students.
