Junior Librarian

Amity Global School, Gurugram is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Junior Librarian who can bring the world of books alive for our students. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in an IB school environment and a flair for storytelling and engaging young readers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day library operations including issue, return, cataloguing, and upkeep of library resources.
• Conduct storytelling and reading sessions to encourage a love for literature.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom learning.
• Maintain an updated collection of print and digital resources aligned with IB curriculum.
• Guide students on research, referencing, and use of digital databases.
• Create a warm, inviting library atmosphere that inspires curiosity and learning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an IB school.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with library management software and digital learning tools.
• Passion for books, reading, and working with children.
