Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other project documents. You will work closely with project managers, designers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Evaluate materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements for interior works including flooring, ceilings, partitions, furniture, lighting, and MEP finishes.
  • Request and analyze quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for interior fit-out projects.
  • Develop cost summaries and pricing sheets for tenders and proposals.
  • Coordinate with design and procurement teams to align estimates with current design intent and market rates.
  • Update cost databases and estimation tools regularly.
  • Assist project management teams in budgeting, value engineering, and cost control during execution.
  • Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in estimation within the interior design or fit-out industry.
  • Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
  • Strong understanding of interior construction materials, methods, and market prices.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
