About the Role :
We're looking for a seasoned Art Director to lead a powerhouse creative team. This role is critical in driving high-quality, marketplace-compliant content across branding, performance, and organic efforts. You'll own everything from creative strategy and process development to execution and team leadership—all with the goal of producing consistent, impactful, and efficient creative output for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Brand & Creative Strategy -
- Develop comprehensive Brand Identity Guides for clients to ensure visual and verbal consistency across assets.
- Design a standardized Creative Brief structure for efficient, high-quality execution across content, video, and photoshoots.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Amazon's content and copywriting policies to ensure full compliance in all deliverables.
Team Leadership & Operations -
- Manage and mentor the full creative team—including graphic designers, video editors, animators, and copywriters.
- Build and maintain a skills matrix for team members to identify strengths, gaps, and upskilling needs.
- Conduct hiring assessments, set and track staffing goals (aiming for 120% resource availability), and participate in the recruitment process.
Process & Performance Management -
- Create and implement SOPs to ensure efficient workflows and creative consistency.
- Ensure all creative work aligns with TMG best practices and is optimized for scale and speed.
- Develop a Cost vs. Outcome framework to track ROI on creative resources and outputs.
Templates and Systems -
- Oversee the creation of design templates (e.g., PSDs) for scalable, brand-consistent A+ content and Brand Stores.
- Lead the development of video ad templates to streamline production and maintain creative quality at speed.
Qualifications (Please Apply Only If You Meet These Requirements):
- 4+ years in a Creative Leadership role or equivalent, with direct experience managing teams across design and copy.
- Deep knowledge of graphic design, brand development, copywriting, and the creative process—especially for Amazon-first content.
- Proficient in industry-standard tools: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc.), Lightworks, and similar.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to understand, interpret, and respond to client needs.
- Experience in SOP development, workflow optimization, and team enablement.
Bonus Skills (A Plus for Your Application) :
- 1+ year in an agency setting with experience managing multiple clients and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, drive retention, and deliver measurable creative success.
- Skilled in client communication, meeting management, and sales-enablement storytelling.
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Asana, or other PM platforms.
- Certifications: SEMrush or Ahrefs SEO, Asana Project Management.
- Comfort with AI tools for content acceleration and ideation.
- Strong people leadership skills: hiring, coaching, and building high-performing teams.
