Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Engineering services to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, ADF, ADLS, PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, and CI/CD practices. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
  • Implement ETL/ELT workflows leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
  • Optimize data processing for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Write efficient SQL/PLSQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across all solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows and production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark.
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL/PLSQL for complex queries and performance tuning.
  • Solid programming skills in Python for data engineering tasks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git/Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and big data concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
