This is a remote position.
- Architect and implement scalable and secure data platforms using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Design data pipelines for ETL/ELT, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and enforce best practices in data governance, security, cost optimization, and DevOps.
- Evaluate and implement advanced features in Databricks (Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog).
- Lead performance tuning, job orchestration, and workload optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.
- Engage in proof of concepts (POCs) and solution workshops with clients and internal teams.
