Senior Manager – Brand

As the Senior Manager – Brand & Strategy, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the overall strategic direction of the brand. You will oversee brand positioning, market share growth, consumer insights and integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand health and visibility. This role requires a strategic thinker who can blend creativity with data-driven decision-making to elevate the brand and drive business success.
Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru
Experience: 3+ years in brand management, new product development, marketing strategy, or a related field, preferably in FMCG, beauty, skincare, or wellness industry.
Educational: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. (Preferred for Pedigree College).
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Product Development:
- Conceptualize and develop innovative product ideas based on market trends and consumer needs.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for product realization.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Evaluate and enhance existing product offerings.
2. Brand Strategy & Market Positioning:
- Develop and execute the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Define the brand's value proposition, positioning and messaging to enhance market share and consumer perception.
- Track and improve brand health metrics, including awareness, engagement and consumer sentiment.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
3. Consumer Insights & Market Research:
- Leverage data analytics and market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences and emerging trends.
- Conduct research on already launched products and provide insights for continuous improvement.
4. Campaign Development & Execution:
- Conceptualize and drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, PR, influencer marketing and social media.
- Ensure execution excellence by working cross-functionally with product, design, PR, and media teams.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as brand impressions, engagement rates, and conversion metrics.
- Continuously innovate and implement new brand-building initiatives.
5. Content & Communication Strategy:
- Oversee the development of high-impact storytelling and content creation for various channels.
- Align influencer marketing, PR, and SEO efforts to maximize brand reach and quality impressions.
- Supervise the creation of press releases, newsletters, website content, and other communication materials.
6. Reporting & Performance Measurement:
- Establish a robust measurement framework to assess brand performance and campaign impact.
- Report key brand metrics, competitive positioning, and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Optimize marketing spend by ensuring cost-effective strategies with a strong return on investment (ROI).
7. Project Management & Compliance:
- Oversee artwork, branding claims, and regulatory compliance for marketing materials.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely execution and budget adherence.
8. Stakeholder & Team Management:
- Align internal teams and external agencies to drive brand goals effectively.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a high-performance culture with a strong focus on learning and development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align brand strategies with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of leading brand strategy and marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with expertise in market research, consumer insights, and brand performance tracking.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing, influencer partnerships, PR, and SEO.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data-driven marketing tools.
