Our new Ahmedabad Design Office will serve as a creative center to shape upcoming collections for both domestic and international markets.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Footwear & Bags Designer who brings creativity, technical expertise, and an understanding of materials and fashion trends.

The role demands the ability to design commercially viable yet aesthetically strong collections while maintaining the brand's DNA and product integrity.

You will collaborate closely with the production team in India and the marketing and retail divisions in the UAE to turn creative ideas into successful market-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trend Forecasting & Research:Study global fashion movements, materials, and color forecasts (WGSN, Pantone, Coloro) relevant to GCC and Indian audiences.
  • Product Design & Development:Create sketches, CADs, and color/material boards for footwear (flats, heels, mules) and handbags (totes, clutches, crossbody).
  • Sampling Coordination:Work with sourcing and production teams to develop prototypes and ensure alignment with quality, comfort, and cost parameters.
  • Material Sourcing:Select fabrics, jacquards, PU, embellishments, and accessories in collaboration with the sampling team.
  • Presentation & Documentation:Prepare collection lookbooks, design decks, and maintain detailed spec sheets and BOMs.
  • Cross-Department Coordination:Work collaboratively with the production, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure timely launches and brand consistency.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's in Fashion / Footwear / Accessory Design (NIFT, FDDI, NID preferred).
  • 3–5 years' experience in footwear and/or handbag design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or CLO 3D.
  • Strong sense of material behavior, pattern development, and construction methods.
  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and able to communicate clearly across departments.
