Store Manager

*Candidate having minimum 15 years' experience in Construction Industry as a Store Manager will only be considered.

Job roles and responsibility:

• Design & execute the Store Operation and strategy to meet our objective.
• Overseeing the daily operations of site store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
• Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
• Identifies current and future requirements by establishing report with department people to understand service requirements.
• To issue the material to the execution as per requisition slip authorized by department heads with proper care and handling.
• Responsible for controlling inventory stock levels and reordering as necessary within Budget.
• To check all invoices for quantity, quality, rates and maintain record accordingly.
• To ensure regular availability of inventory in the store, maintains appropriate level of inventory all the time in the store.
• Manages all aspects of Loss Prevention and adheres to external and internal procedures for theft, inventory management and operations controls.
• To ensure that the materials are placed in smaller piles and proper stacking to obtain the physical stock at any time of the day with accuracy.
• Maintains a safety, security and clean store environment by developing and publishing evacuation routes; determining and documenting locations of potentially dangerous materials and chemicals.
• Hire, train, develop and supervise staff.
• Ensuring the entry of complete details of required materials by the person requisitioning the same.
• Receiving all materials in his physical presence to ascertain the quality and quantity as per PO and informing any deviations to the store in charge
• Ensuring proper loading/ unloading and storage of all materials to prevent wastage/ pilferage/ theft and time loss (due to logistical failure).
• Issuing all materials after proper verification of approved document by the competent authority at project level and coordinating with the end user.
• Preparation of all documents of all store related functions (Computerize & Manually) and keeping all records pertaining to inventory of all materials by posting them in proper books daily.
• Training all subordinates to create awareness about all kinds of materials utilized at project sites.
• Preparation of MRN MIN (Material Receipt Note Material Issue Note) through ERP Software.
• Update all store work on daily basis (MIN , DMR , MRN, GRN, Invoice, Transfers)Etc.
• Exercise general control over all activities in Stores.
• Ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Receive and store documents and confidential files; maintain record of approved documents and confidential files.
• Reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required and issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.
• Check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
• Monitor and proactively take action in response to site needs/ requests for construction materials.
• Anticipate and proactively elevate potential challenges/problems.
• Answers questions regarding procedures and resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus supply.

• Maintaining the outside area of the stores and yard in a safe clean and tidy condition.

Required Candidate Profile:

• Good Communication Skills & Pleasing personality
• Good working knowledge of MS Office & Other software knowledge.
• Candidate having minimum 15 years' experience in Construction Industry as a Store Manager will only be considered.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Thorough understanding of Accounts, Inventory management & Budgeting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
