Job Overview:

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis, interpretation, and visualization of data to extract actionable insights. You will work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data cleansing and transformation, and generate reports and dashboards that inform business decisions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in data analysis, gain exposure to diverse datasets and tools, and contribute to meaningful projects that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, objectives, and success criteria
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency of datasets
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers using statistical and visualization techniques
  • Assist in the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests, providing timely and accurate responses to meet business needs
  • Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to support knowledge sharing and future reference
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and visualization

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar
  • 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis role or related field (internship or entry-level positions)

Preferred Requirements:

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
