As a Business Development Trainee / Intern at Buddy4Study, you will support the team in driving growth through partnerships, market outreach, and strategic initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience across various aspects of business development and client engagement.

Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify and profile potential corporate, institutional, and NGO partners.
  • Assist in lead generation, outreach, and follow-ups through email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
  • Support in preparing proposals, concept notes, and partnership presentations.
  • Maintain and update CRM databases, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and interactions.
  • Conduct secondary research on market trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proposal inputs, internal reviews, and event coordination.
  • Prepare weekly reports, presentations, and documentation for business development reviews.
  • Assist in scheduling client meetings, internal discussions, and maintaining communication logs.
  • Contribute creative ideas for improving outreach and partner engagement strategies.
  • Learn and implement best practices in sales enablement, partnership management, and business communication.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
  • Eagerness to learn about business growth, partnerships, and social impact.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • MBA / BBA or equivalent degree (preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields).
  • Prior internship or project experience in sales, business development, or partnerships is a plus.
