Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Python, and CI/CD tools. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions that enable advanced analytics and business insights.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP services, primarily BigQuery.
  • Write efficient and reusable Python scripts to transform, clean, and enrich large datasets.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows to ensure robust and reliable deployments.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipelines in production environments.
  • Apply best practices in data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization in BigQuery.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, or Pub/Sub.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build, or Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling (star/snowflake schema), and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
