Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Agronomist for a full-time position located in Bhopal. This role involves supporting our agricultural solutions with a focus on research and development. The ideal candidate will use state-of-the-art technologies to enhance productivity and ensure sustainable agriculture.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in crop modeling software is essential for simulating and predicting crop growth and yield under various conditions (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with integrated pest management is crucial for developing sustainable agriculture practices (Mandatory skill).
  • Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies is important for improving farming efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to utilize GIS software for spatial analysis and mapping to optimize agriculture field layouts.
  • Skilled in soil testing and analysis to determine nutrient levels and recommend necessary amendments.
  • Data analysis skills using R or Python to manage and interpret large datasets for actionable insights.
  • Experience with remote sensing technologies to monitor crop health and detect potential issues early.
  • Understanding of plant breeding techniques to support the development of high-yield crop varieties.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct field trials and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of agrochemical products.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to improve formulations and applications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to farmers on best practices and product usage.
  • Analyze soil, weather, and crop data to optimize yield and manage farm inputs effectively.
  • Develop strategies for integrated pest management in collaboration with field experts.
  • Create and present reports on research findings and agricultural improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in agricultural sciences and technologies.
  • Participate in workshops and seminars to represent the company and educate stakeholders.
