Reports To: Team Lead – HR Direct
The HR Associate (HR Direct Representative) delivers accurate, high-quality, and personalized HR support to employees, managers, and HR teams globally. The role involves handling HR inquiries and transactions through phone, chat, and employee portal (G&Me), using ServiceNow to resolve payroll, benefits, policy, and Workday-related queries while ensuring SLA adherence and continuous process improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Support & Case Management (85%)
Respond to HR inquiries via phone, chat, and G&Me using ServiceNow.
Process personnel administration, payroll, benefits, and Workday transactions accurately.
Guide and coach employees and managers on HR self-service tools (G&Me, Workday).
Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and HR teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct research for complex cases and coordinate with specialists/vendors.
Escalate issues appropriately and ensure end-to-end resolution.
Deliver empathetic, customer-first service with clear documentation.
Meet all SLAs including response time, turnaround time, QA, and customer service scores.
Identify trends, recommend improvements, and translate technical concepts simply.
Process & System Improvement
Identify, report, and troubleshoot system/process issues.
Suggest and implement improvements to workflows, policies, and HR tools.
Support enhancements to self-service and employee communication platforms.
Letter Management (15%)
Create and manage templated employee letters (Bonafide, Attestation, Service Letters, etc.).
Coordinate with stakeholders, maintain drafts, and track completion.
Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
1–2 years of experience in query management (2–3 years preferred).
Workday, ServiceNow, iCIMS, Cornerstone
Exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel preferred).
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
