Role Description

This is an internship role for a WordPress Developer, offered as a fully remote opportunity. The WordPress Developer intern will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on performance and user experience. Daily tasks include implementing responsive web design, debugging, optimizing website functionality, collaborating with the design team, and integrating front-end and back-end components seamlessly. The role also includes creating and maintaining custom plugins and themes as required for client-specific needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience or willingness to develop proficiency in Front-End Development, Responsive Web Design, and Web Design
  • Understanding of Back-End Web Development and Web Development principles, including integration of custom plugins and themes
  • Fundamental knowledge of WordPress CMS, including customization and optimization
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time management skills
  • A proactive approach to learning and collaborating with team members
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization is a plus
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
