Role & responsibilities

Sales Development:

  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth for the organization.

  • Analyze market trends and customer demands to identify growth opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue new customers to expand the service centre's market share.

  • Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Collaboration with Operations and Logistics:

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely product availability and delivery according to customer specifications.

  • Coordinate with dispatch to ensure smooth delivery and manage customer expectations.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or an MBA is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel, sheet metal or any engineering manufacturing industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of the steel market, including products, applications and customer segments.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
