Role Purpose

Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of Travelex Global Networks, Telecoms, and Secured Internet Infrastructure. Reports to Technical Manager Networks, Mumbai.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • Ability to resolve level 3 Network & Telecoms infrastructure support calls
  • Full understanding of fundamental concepts in IP Networks, Routing & Switching, Internet and Firewalls, and Voice communication over network.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as Network Analyst or similar.
  • Must have a good knowledge in the following areas of technology; Networks / telecommunications; desktops / servers / mid-range computing; messaging / Internet; enterprise management systems; data management.
  • Expert in managing complex technical issues related to networks.
  • Diploma or higher in Engineering
  • Comfortable working in shifts
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

Preferred Exposure on Technologies:

  • Checkpoint Firewall
  • A10 Load balancer / Leading Load-balancer technology
  • Cisco routing/switching
  • Script/Automations on technology used

Desirable:

  • Experience of setup, support & troubleshooting in LAN, WAN, Firewalls and Internet infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of customer service during any engagements with Customers/3rd parties or internal teams.
  • Well versed with the WEB environments in Data Centers.
  • Awareness of products such as Layer 3 Switches, Load-balancers, Firewalls, Wi-Fi, Solar-winds or similar monitoring systems.
  • Familiarity with IT Security issues and Business Continuity Management.
  • Familiarity with the support and monitoring of a large Wide Area Network.
  • Awareness of IP Telephony solution, Voicemail, Voice recording, Wall boards & IVR.
