Job Title: Lead - Process Automations / Chief Manager

Role Description:

The Lead - Automations will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions across business workflows and processes to enhance end-user productivity and operational efficiency. This role demands a seasoned technical expert with deep experience in enterprise-scale automation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive automation roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Identify high-impact workflows and processes for automation across departments.
  • Lead the design and deployment of automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, or custom scripting platforms.
  • Collaborate with business units to analyse current processes and identify bottlenecks.
  • Implement automation to reduce manual effort, improve turnaround time, and enhance data accuracy.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of automation initiatives on productivity and service delivery.
  • Lead a team of automation engineers and consultants, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Ensure robust documentation, version control, and governance of automation scripts and platforms.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or new tools as needed.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of automation projects from planning and development to deployment and support.
  • Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing systems and data sources.
  • Implement structured log maintenance, index optimization, and performance tuning for automation databases.
  • Ensure all automation initiatives comply with internal IT governance policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Participate in change management and risk mitigation processes related to automation deployments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B. Tech/B.E./MBA - (Computers/ IT /Electronics) / MCA.
  • Certifications in automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate) and project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in automation leadership roles.
