Role and Responsibilities:
The Java Developer will be responsible for hands-on coding, primarily focused on the Positions and Trade Capture platform. They will coordinate global testing and schedule application rollouts, contribute towards improving the DevOps CI/CD Pipelines and Strategic Architecture, and troubleshoot production issues. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java and Spring Boot based application development, be familiar with caching solutions and No SQL databases, and possess a solid understanding of RDBMS concepts with experience in Oracle, Sybase, or MS SQL. Cloud experience with Micro Services and Containerization is a plus. They must have a test-driven development mindset and adhere to the firm's minimum development standards. Additionally, they should have experience with CI/CD tools, Agile Development, and the software lifecycle. Unix or Linux scripting experience is also preferred.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have substantial practical experience of software delivery at an advanced level. They should have a strong command of Java and Spring Boot based application development and an understanding of caching solutions and No SQL databases. Experience with RDBMS concepts and Oracle, Sybase, or MS SQL is required. Cloud experience with Micro Services and Containerization is a valuable asset. The candidate must have a demonstrated proficiency in test-driven development, CI/CD tools, Agile Development, Software lifecycle, and Unix or Linux scripting.
